Description
Basic Fuchsin is a fluorescent dye containing a mixture of rosaniline, pararosaniline, magenta II, and new fuchsine. The basic fuchsin is a cationic triphenylmethane dye used for the detection of acid-fast bacilli and is commonly used in the Ziehl Neelsen staining technique.
